* Her Father Paul J. Pugliese; is a distinguished cartographer who has collaborated with notable authors, including Stephen King, James Carville, and Richard Nixon, as well as prominent magazines.

* Her Grandmother Lillian Simon; was a talented artist who worked on Betty Boop and Popeye cartoons in the 1940s for Fleischer Studio in the Bronx.

* Her Sister Elle Key; went onto being a movie director who co-founded Detroit Pictures, ana an award-winning comedy writer.
